iCare® Systems

Care® is a comprehensive system for indoor air quality monitoring and management based on the best practices in the field of air purification. It’s also inspired by the best systems and most modern technology in intelligent control and internal/Internet communication networks.
iCare® ’s golden feature is its comprehensiveness, which means that it includes all the required components for creating the perfect indoor environment, including an air purification unit, remote sensors, and user-friendly touch panels. These elements can be implemented in any number required by the network space. In addition, iCare® ’s modular design makes it possible to use different elements of air purification as needed for various places with the least complexity in implementation.

Air Filtration Units for Various Applications

Another important feature of air purification units in the iCare® system is the possibility of built-in installation in the space above false ceilings. This will hide the unit from users’ view while delivering clean and fresh air through installed ducts in the best possible way.

iCare® is a complete set of elements needed to control indoor air quality, in line with the needs of modern architecture and with the capabilities expected for a smart building. The main element of this set is air filtration units suitable for built-in installation and ducting. Up to 10 units can be controlled by iCare® ’s several sensors and central control system.

The Significance of Indoor Air Quality

Even though indoor air pollution is twice higher than outdoors, it has traditionally received less attention. This issue especially becomes important when we’re reminded that people spend about 80% of their time indoors at homes or offices.

An excess of pollutants indoors (created indoors and entering from outside) can result in indoor air pollution. Indoor air pollution causes a very serious threat to human health, resulting in millions of deaths every year. In fact, a whopping 5 million people die every year prematurely from illnesses due to poor indoor air quality. This type of pollution also causes multi-million losses to societies due to reduced employee productivity, material damages, and increased health system expenses.

As of 2020, we must also consider another new enemy indoors: the COVID-19 virus which is multiplied in closed environments and transmitted through droplet particles. Therefore, it becomes extremely crucial to implement management strategies for improving indoor air quality.

Indoor Air Pollutants Captured by iCare®

Air filtration seems to be the most practical solution for air quality enhancement, considering many factors including energy consumption, temperature management, sound pollution, and ….
HEPA and gas phase air filters are the front line of defense against poor indoor air quality.
HEPA air filters remove fine & ultrafine particles from the air and gas phase filters reduce gaseous pollutants and odors. These filters have been around for many years and are the most reliable method for reducing air pollutants, especially without adding harmful by-products to the air.

Indoor Air Pollutants

Pollen

Pollen particles are coarse and range from 10 microns up to 200 microns (about the width of a human hair).

Pollen iCare

Formaldehyde

Formaldehyde is a cancerous, colorless gas present in tobacco smoke & many household products.

Formaldehyde iCare

Mold

Mold spores are very common pollutants indoors and are typically 3 to 40 microns in size.

Mold iCare

VOCs

VOCs are dangerous gases emitted by perfume, cleaning products, paints & …

VOCs iCare

PM 2.5

Particles smaller than 2.5 micrometers like dust, soot, or smoke can cause serious harm to health.

PM2.5 iCare

Dust Mites

Dust mites can be a severe source of asthma & allergies, sizing about 20 microns in diameter.

Dust Mites iCare

Viruses

Common viruses like influenza or corona are dangerous indoor air pollutants sized about 80–120 nm.

Viruses iCare

Bacteria

Bacteria can be carried by people, animals, & soil & plant debris. Its particles are about 1 to 2 microns

Bacteria iCare

Pet Dander

Pet dander is an allergen sizing about 2.5 to 10 microns, allowing it to become airborne.

State of The Art Technology with iCare®

Advanced EC Fan

Advanced EC Fan for Ultimate Air Flow & Lowest Noise

iCare® uses the latest technology in air blowers with the highest energy efficiency. Thanks to iCare® ‘s advanced EC fan, maximum airflow is achieved with the lowest noise and energy consumption level possible.

High Capacity HEPA & Activated Carbon Filters

High Capacity HEPA & Activated Carbon Filters

iCare® models generally include 3 stages of air filtration:

1. Eliminating coarse particles in the pre-filtration stage
2. Absorbing odor, gaseous and chemical pollutants through pelletized activated carbon filters
3. Eliminating fine and ultrafine particles through HEPA filters

The final and necessary area of fiber filters, as well as the amount for gas absorber filters, is determined based on the building’s application, the airflow required for each unit, and the reasonable time for service and replacement of filters.

UVGI Lamps

Disinfection with Optional & Supplementary UVGI Lamps

In special applications and as needed, disinfection can also be achieved by installing UVGI lamps inside iCare® units. These UV lamps will be scheduled for activation at proper times (often in times when users are not present in the room).
UVGI or Ultraviolet Germicidal Irradiation method uses short-wavelength ultraviolet light to kill microorganisms and pathogens.

Advanced IoT for Indoor Air Quality Control

iCare® is a complete smart solution. This means that it includes all the necessary connected components to achieve a standard quality for indoor air pollution control. Beyond the hardware required for this, which includes filtration units, sensors, and control panels, an important element of this set is the software and the intelligent communication network system. The IoT technology used in this solution offers the most up-to-date and appropriate way to meet the needs of its users.
